May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Mrs. Maxwell's class is celebrating by learning how to use chopsticks, a fun hands-on way to explore culture through food! Did you know? Chopsticks have been used for over 3,000 years, originating in China before spreading to countries like Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. They were first used for cooking, and later became the everyday eating utensils we know today!
