Our K–4 students traveled all the way to Africa without ever leaving school! 🎶✨
With Musical IQ’s Drum Tales: Africa, students clapped, drummed, and moved to exciting rhythms as explored wide savannahs.
The Dr. Paul Rafalides School Spelling Bee! Congratulations to all the classroom winners from 3rd and 4th grade who competed! Congratulations to our School Champion, Kieran Ahmed, from room 8! He will compete in the Hudson County Bee in February.
Students in Room 4 are dreaming big and setting goals for 2026. With hard work, positive choices, and believing in themselves, there’s no limit to what they can achieve!
A STEM program entitled Snapology paid us a visit. The students had an opportunity to build catapults out of Legos. They were super excited. It was a very fun and engaging activity.
Students and parents painted snowman canvases together to take home and display—and had a blast doing it!
Huge thanks to Abrakadoodle and our own Ms. Gioia for leading the fun, and to Ms. Eliopoulos, Mr. Roosen, Ms. Caracozza, Ms. Sanchez, Ms. Piscoya, and Ms. Henen for helping make the night a success.
Students stood together in solidarity to show their appreciation for all skin colors. Through kindness, unity, and shared learning, we’re showing that our differences make us brighter and that every student deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.
The Prek students in Room 11 have been learning about Black History by listening to stories about African Americans !!
In small group with Mrs. Caracozza, our third and fourth graders are strengthening their reading comprehension skills by working together and engaging with our reading comprehension folder games using both fiction and informational texts 📚
