In honor of Native American History Month, students paid tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans by participating in the district’s “Weaving Together Our Past, Present, and Future” celebration.
The Prek Students in Room 11 have been learning about the NATIVE AMERICANS, they created their Native American necklace!
Students stood together in solidarity to show their appreciation for all skin colors. Through kindness, unity, and shared learning, we’re showing that our differences make us brighter and that every student deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.
Room 7 read “Balloons over Broadway” we learned the history of the famous Thanksgiving Parade in NYC. Then we created our own balloon animals.
