Students in room 10, 3rd grade, got to celebrate their Butterfly Release out in the PS 33 Garden! Goodbye Sonic, Stella, Jack, and Ms. Maxwell!
Students made their own flashlights using a battery, LED, aluminum foil, and an index card. Through trial and error, they explored how electrical energy flows through a circuit. They learned how conductors like aluminum foil can transfer energy from the battery to the LED, completing the circuit and making it light up. #mysteryscience
