In small group with Mrs. Caracozza, our third and fourth graders are strengthening their reading comprehension skills by working together and engaging with our reading comprehension folder games using both fiction and informational texts 
Students had a great time collaborating while practicing important academic skills such as using academic language, identifying main ideas and key details, making connections within the text, identifying character traits, and comparing and contrasting texts just to name a few!
Learning is always better when it’s interactive, meaningful, and fun!
Yesterday, our K–4 students traveled all the way to Africa without ever leaving school! 

With Musical IQ’s Drum Tales: Africa, students clapped, drummed, and moved to exciting rhythms as explored wide savannahs.
They discovered amazing African drums and instruments, learned about vibrant cultures, and listened to powerful stories
STEM Club students put their engineering skills to the test by using Electrical Circuits kits and batteries to power their creations in a hands-on STEM challenge.
In this mini-lesson, students see how the shape of snowflakes causes them to look like the color of light that is shining on them. In the activity, Wax Paper Snowflake, students create a decorative snowflake and investigate how to make something transparent look white.
